Wellington Botanical Garden

One of the amazing memory from Wellington is to visit the Botanical Garden. It is so colorful, relaxing, refreshing as there are many things to see, counting from flowers to big trees. There is a big rose garden there, then a variety of flowers. I had a very happy trip to Castle Point to see the lighthouse. From Wellington, we have to cross Petone, then Rimutaka Crossing, Masterton and then the castle points. Along the way, we can see a flock of sheep, horses farm and other things. It takes about 2 h and half (163.5 km) from Wellington to Castle point. Even though we could access to almost everywhere in New Zealand but I consider Castle Point the remote area so better prepared in advanced. I believe that locals are aware of such things but I also see many international visitors who can hire a car and drive themselves. If you ever plan to visit Wellington and see most of the scenic view of lighthouse in Castle Point, you may take these into consideration.  Beware of winery road from Wellington to Castle Point.  Beware of strong wind at Castle Point Stopping at Rimutaka crossing for picturesque view on winery road.  Spending the night at the castle point for sunset and sunrise.
